What is a Service & Assembly Technician?​
A Service & Assembly technician knows the skill sets for both merchandising and assembly. Unlike regular merchandisers, service and assembly technicians tackle light maintenance of displays and assembles new displays for the retail sales floor.
What can I expect on the job?​
Go store to store and work independently to keep the furniture display area looking “showroom ready” at this big box office supply company! You'll take inventory, fix displays, place signage, clean displays, anchor items, and ensure the floor is laid out correctly according to the plan-o-gram.
What's the dress code?
Apollo employees will wear a black Apollo branded polo shirts, jeans, black pants, or khakis, and close-toed shoes. You'll also need to wear your name badge on the job.
What are the hours?
Hours will depend on the project but can vary between 3-40 hours per week. We have projects that are extremely flexible and others where you are required to work after store hours into overnights. Talk to a recruiter to see which project is a good fit for you!

Yes, you can absolutely get promoted. One of our former assemblers moved up to become a trainer, District Cooridinator, and is now a District Manager. We love to promote from within.
