What You’ll Do as a Merchandising Team Lead

As the driving force behind each project, you will:

• Champion the Apollo Brand- Represent Apollo Retail in every interaction—with retail partners, customers, and vendors—while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.

• Own Project Operations- Execute the District Manager’s vision, from kickoff through completion, ensuring on‑time delivery and adherence to budgeted hours.

• Train and Develop Talent- Onboard and mentor new merchandisers, conduct post‑project assessments to build a robust talent pipeline, and recognize outstanding performance.

• Maintain Open Communication- Keep the District Manager informed with regular updates on wins, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

• Drive Safety and Compliance- Enforce OSHA guidelines, conduct safety briefings, and report incidents immediately to keep your team—and our customers—safe.

• Support Staffing Needs-Help recruit, train, and where needed, step in to support existing crews to ensure projects stay fully staffed and on track.

  
  

What We’re Looking For

To excel as an Apollo Team Lead, you’ll need:

• Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED (BS preferred)

  • Minimum 2 years of retail management or leadership experience, plus hands‑on merchandising/installation background

• Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with planograms, floor plans, and basic blueprint reading

  • Familiarity with fixture assemblies—racking, shelving, light installations—and machinery certifications (e.g., forklift)

• Leadership & Communication

  • Strong interpersonal and decision‑making skills

  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
